July 31st: Medicinal Foraging with Jah! Join Jah Brown from Brown People Foundation on a medicinally-focused native plant walk, and learn how to make tinctures! Bring your own container!
August 7th: Soil Safari with Nance Klemm! Join Nance Klemm of Social Ecologies and walk to several areas of the Wild Mile to collect, examine assess and learn about the different soils on site from the hill down to the shoreline, the platforms and into the water.
August 14th: Photo Walk with Jah Brown! Join Jah Brown from Brown People Foundation for a photo walk along the Wild Mile!
August 21st: BAT NIGHT! With Maggie Jones and Liza Lehrer! Join bat expert Liza Lehrer and long-time bat-tracker volunteer Maggie Jones to learn about the Lincoln Park Zoo's community science bat monitoring initative, local bat populations, and the importance of these flying furry friends!
